Question about Pararescue Jumpers. (PJs)?

I think it's great that you want to be a PJ. I wish I had known about Pararescue when I was your age. To be honest, I'm not sure about your eyesight. Is it correctable? You'd have to talk to a recruiter about that or check out www.specialtactics.com. Just make sure you use the search function before you ask the question. Listen man, if you want to be a J then I suggest that you put 100% of your energy into it. There can be no "plan B." If you show up at indoc with a plan B then you're only setting yourself up for failure. Its Pararescue or nothing. Your mindset needs to be, "I'm going graduate or leave this place on a stretcher." You literally have years to prepare yourself, so do it. There's plenty of information out there regarding indoc standards, etc. Show up prepared and you'll be fine. Don't be one of those s that spends his time asking ridiculous questions online about diet and recommended workouts. Work hard, don't be a , and never quit anything. If you get hurt, they may recycle you if you were meeting the standards. Best of luck to you young man.
