What it means when said that bony thorax is intact?

My mother had a radiological result and the findings are as follows; bony thorax is intact, pulmonary hyperaeration with tered reticular and patchy hazed infiltrates due to extensive PTB and coexistent pneumonia. If anyone can answer all these medical terms in a layman's term, it would be greatly appreciated.
