Why you love clical music can really only be answered by you - but compared to modern popular music, nothing approaches it in complexity of harmony, color, etc. Pop music is mostly popular during a short period of time, meaning its biggest selling point is usually its novelty. The great clical compositions have shown themselves to be more than simple novelty and have stood the test of time - being just as popular and producing the same depth of emotion within listeners centuries after being written.
