Desperately need and answer?

okay so i have a mole on my left arm and the other day it was itchy like a bug bite, now it has gone into a red lump. i told my mum and she said if it hasnt gone we will go to the doctors in a week. it doesnt hurt at all but lately i've been wearing a build up fake tan cream could thaty be it??? and also do you think its cancer?????
